Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and result-oriented Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Economics and Business Studies to teach senior secondary students (Grades 9 to 12). The ideal candidate must possess deep conceptual knowledge of both commerce streams and have a proven track record of preparing students for CBSE and ICSE/ISC Board Examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach Business Studies and Economics (Micro, Macro, Statistics, and Indian Economic Development) for Grades 9–12 according to CBSE and ICSE/ISC guidelines.
- Board Preparation: Train students in board-specific answer-writing techniques, time management, and scoring strategies.
- Project Mentorship: Guide students through mandatory board practical project work, case studies, and internal assessments.
- Academic Planning: Create weekly lesson plans, worksheets, chapter-wise question banks, and mock tests.
- Modern Pedagogy: Connect theoretical concepts to real-world business news, stock market trends, and economic policies.
- Student Support: Conduct regular remedial classes for struggling students and enrichment sessions for high achievers.
- Parent Communication: Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com), M.A. Economics
- Teaching Certification: B.Ed (Economics) mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of teaching experience handling classes 9th to 12th in a CBSE or ICSE/ISC school.
- Board Evaluation: Prior experience as a Board examiner or evaluator is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
