About the Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern to join our marketing team.
The intern will assist in planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content across social media platforms. You will get hands-on experience working on social media campaigns for Honeybee Digital and CityHangAround.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing social media content calendars.
- Create engaging content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Write captions, hooks, post copy, and short-form content.
- Assist with Instagram Reels, Stories, Carousels, Polls, Quizzes, and Static Posts.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, formats, and social media trends.
- Monitor competitor and industry social media activities.
- Assist in promoting local businesses, products, services, events, and city-based content.
- Schedule and publish social media posts as per the content calendar.
- Track basic engagement metrics such as reach, likes, comments, shares, and saves.
- Suggest creative ideas to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.
- Coordinate with the content, graphic design, video editing, and marketing teams.
- Maintain regular task updates and communicate project progress with the team.
Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of social media trends.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Good research and content-writing skills.
- Ability to create engaging captions and content ideas.
- Basic knowledge of Canva is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media analytics is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new content formats.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Internship Details
Duration: 3 Months
Work Mode: 100% Remote
Working Hours:
- Full-Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Part-Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Internship Type: Certificate-based / Skill-development Internship
Stipend: Unpaid
