Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice review and processing, approval coordination, payment run preparation, and maintenance of supporting documentation.
* Manage cash and banking activities by monitoring transactions, preparing cash reports, maintaining banking records, executing fund transfers, and supporting deposit-related processes.
* Review and validate employee expense reports for accuracy, appropriate coding, policy compliance, and supporting documentation, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
* Support month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, recurring journal entries, and preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
* Provide guidance, review, and day-to-day supervision to junior accounting team members supporting AP and related accounting functions.
* Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records and documentation to ensure compliance, operational continuity, and timely reporting.
* Collaborate with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to drive efficient, well-controlled, and accurate accounting processes and financial operations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of accounting workflows, controls, and reporting practices.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
* Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, cash management, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across functions.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
* Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working within professional services, consulting, or other service-based organizations.
* Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
* Prior experience working in multinational corporations (MNCs) or global business environments.
* Exposure to process improvement initiatives, is an advantage
Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
