Transport Coordinator – BJS Home Delivery

Job Summary
BJS Home Delivery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to support daily transport and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, monitoring vehicle movements, communicating with drivers, and ensuring excellent service levels for customers across the UK delivery network.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transportation activities and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vehicle routes and ensure timely completion of deliveries.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, warehouses, and operational teams.
- Track shipments and update delivery statuses in internal systems.
- Manage transport documentation, Proof of Delivery (POD), and operational records.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer service concerns promptly.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate transport data.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations.
- Support dispatch operations and assist with route planning when required.
- Work closely with internal departments to improve delivery performance.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Knowledge of route planning and fleet coordination.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
