Principal task and Responsibility •Lead the IPR team; •Support to "API/NCE/Formulation/NDDS/Biotech/NPD/Marketing/Business" teams, CADILA subsidiaries and research collaborators; •Review all literature and provide an ANDA filing strategy for selected products; •Support New Product Selection Activity by analysing information about granted patents and patent applications •Ensure the non-infringing Freedom to operate (FTO) of CPL's products (API/NCE/Formulation) in various territories by providing; •IP clearance for the strategies proposed for API/NCE/ FnD/NDDS: •Written report following non infringing analysis freedom to operate and IP clearance in stipulated ume frame •Interact with CADILA team to identify potential opportunities for obtaining intellectual property rights; •Design patent filing strategy for obtaining patent in territories of interest; •File patent application and defend it by appropriate response to office action to secure gram of patent in various parts of world. •Effective Management of CPL Patent Portfolio: •Third Party IP due diligence, •Conducting Knowledge Sharing Exercise •Motivation of team for excel the performance of the group •To file a post grant opposition as per requirement. •To defend granted patents Literature search: •Review of information in various paid and free database eg Sei-Finder.
