Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to prepare accurate technical drawings for projects, including GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, detailed design development drawings, and shop drawings. The candidate will be responsible for preparing factory and furniture shop drawings, coordinating with designers and production teams, and ensuring drawings meet project and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings based on approved designs.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and construction details in AutoCAD.
- Create shop drawings for factory production, including furniture and joinery detailing. Prepare furniture manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications.
- Produce detailed sectional drawings and component detailing for fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with designers, architects, and production teams to ensure drawings match design intent.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, or design updates.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Software Requirements:
- AutoCAD (2D drafting and detailing) is mandatory.
- SketchUp and any 3D modeling software for prototype visualization (e.g., 3ds Max, Rhino, Fusion, etc.) will be preferred.
Qualification:
- Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in drafting and detailing.
- Experience in furniture, joinery, or interior project detailing preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD drafting and detailing standards.
- Experience in shop drawings and furniture detailing.
- Understanding of materials, hardware, and construction techniques.
- Good technical and spatial visualization skills.
- Ability to interpret design drawings and convert them into detailed production drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple drawing tasks.
Additional Advantage:

- Ability to create 3D models for prototypes or presentations
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
