About the Role:
We are seeking an active, attentive, and empathetic Guest Relation Executive (GRE) to join our patient-facing hospital team. In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between patients, their families, and our medical/administrative teams. You will manage patient touchpoints, guide families through hospital processes, address grievances with calm cooperation, and use engaging communication skills to build trust and ensure smooth care journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Engagement & Orientation: Welcome patients and families at critical touchpoints (OPD, Ward, ICU transfers, Billing), orienting them to care plans and hospital processes with warmth and clarity.
- Active Listening & Grievance Resolution: Calmly listen to patient concerns, financial anxieties, or misunderstandings, acting as a patient advocate to resolve issues before they escalate.
- Effective Communication: Translate complex procedures, billing breakdowns, and hospital guidelines into simple, reassuring English and local language conversations.
- Convert & Retain Inbound Pipeline: Use proactive communication and relationship-building skills to engage prospective patients, address their doubts, and ensure high conversion and retention.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work seamlessly as a team player alongside doctors, nurses, billing clerks, and housekeeping staff to maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
- Bedside Dignity & Monitoring: Conduct regular, attentive bedside rounds to check on patient comfort, ensuring privacy, hygiene, and dignity protocols are strictly maintained.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Any Graduate degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. Nursing, or Health Administration preferred).
- Communication: Fluent in English with strong, pleasant spoken skills; proficiency in Tamil is essential.
- Interpersonal Attributes: Patient, cooperative, emotionally mature, and capable of staying calm under pressure or when handling anxious family members.
- Mindset: Active, alert, and attentive to detail; proactive in noticing patient needs before they complain.
- Engagement Skills: Basic marketing/service orientation to present hospital care packages, builds trust, and present value transparently.
- Team Spirit: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary hospital environment.
Experience:
- Freshers with excellent communication and empathy are welcome to apply.
- 0–3 years of experience in Hospital Front Office, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Healthcare Patient Experience is an added advantage or anything relevant
