Job Type: Full-Time.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Executive to manage end-to-end HR operations for our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in factory/shop-floor HR practices, statutory compliance, employee relations, and — preferably — established relationships with local government bodies and labor authorities, which will be valuable in managing licensing, inspections, and community/administrative liaison work.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Administration
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, and exit formalities for factory and staff employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift scheduling for factory workers and staff.
Statutory Compliance & Government Liaison
- Ensure compliance with labor laws including Factories Act, ESI, PF, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Liaise with local government departments, labor office, factory inspectorate, police, and municipal authorities for licenses, renewals, inspections, and approvals.
- Handle documentation and coordination for statutory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain and leverage good working relationships with local government officials and authorities (preferred) to ensure smooth handling of approvals, disputes, and community matters.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Coordinate recruitment for shop-floor workers, contract labor, and staff positions in line with production requirements.
- Liaise with labor contractors and manpower agencies for contract workforce needs.
- Support workforce planning based on production schedules and manpower budgets.
Employee Relations & Welfare
- Act as a point of contact for grievance handling and conflict resolution on the shop floor.
- Organize employee welfare activities, safety programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Support disciplinary processes, domestic inquiries, and standing orders implementation.
Industrial Relations
- Support management in maintaining harmonious industrial relations with workers and contract labor.
- Assist in handling union matters, if applicable, and in managing workplace disputes.
- Coordinate with local police and administration on matters affecting plant security and law & order, as required.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of labor law compliance (PF, ESI, Factories Act, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and conflict-resolution ability
- Proficiency in MS Office / HRMS systems
- Established network with local government and administrative offices (preferred)
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
