To support our expanding pipeline of custom applications, client dashboards, and complex database builds for these sectors as we push past 130+ active accounts, we are looking for a reliable, security-conscious Freelance Back-End Developer to build the solid foundational engines that power our digital solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Back-End Developer who excels at building scalable, secure, and highly efficient server-side architectures. You will be responsible for managing data exchange between the server and users, developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining databases, and ensuring seamless API integrations with front-end components and third-party tools (like CRMs and lead pipelines).
Key Responsibilities
- Server-Side Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain clean, secure, and scalable server-side applications and logic.
- Database Management: Build, optimize, and manage relational or non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ensuring data hygiene, security, and fast query response times for heavy-traffic real estate or supplier directories.
- API Development & Integration: Create robust RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints for front-end consumption, and seamlessly integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, CRM pipelines, ERP solutions).
- Security & Authentication: Implement industry-standard data protection, secure user authentication systems (OAuth, JWT), and authorization mechanisms across applications.
- Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot backend bottlenecks, optimize server scripts, and manage caching layers (e.g., Redis) to ensure rapid data retrieval.
- Collaboration: Work alongside front-end developers and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of active experience as a Back-End Developer (Agency or SaaS startup background is highly preferred).
- Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in at least one primary backend language/runtime: Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or PHP (Laravel).
- Database Mastery: Excellent SQL scripting skills, database design architecture, and optimization techniques.
- API Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices, serverless architecture, and API documentation (Swagger/Postman).
- Version Control: Highly proficient with Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour
