Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Cognite Engineer with 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Industrial Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise-wide Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) initiatives, define data architecture strategies, drive digital transformation programs, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance industrial data solutions across the organization. The role requires strong expertise in Cognite, cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, data governance, and stakeholder management while leading technical teams and influencing strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Define and drive enterprise-wide data architecture strategies leveraging Cognite Data Fusion (CDF). Design scalable, secure, and high-performance industrial data platforms and data ecosystems. Lead large-scale Cognite implementation and modernization programs across multiple business units. Establish data standards, governance frameworks, metadata management, and best practices. Architect complex integrations between Cognite, ERP systems, MES, SCADA, Historians, IoT platforms, and enterprise applications. Drive data modeling, master data management, and information architecture initiatives. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO, industry standards). Collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and enterprise architects to align technology solutions with business goals. Provide technical leadership for data engineering teams and mentor senior engineers and architects. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enterprise data platforms. Required Skills Deep expertise in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) and industrial data management solutions. Strong experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and large-scale data integration. Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline architecture. Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT), Operational Technology (OT), and digital transformation initiatives. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, APIs, Relevant certifications in Cognite, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Data Architecture. Preferred Skills Experience leading enterprise-scale Cognite implementations. Knowledge of AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, and Digital Twin solutions. Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures
