Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and continuously updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting efficiency. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, ensuring timely analysis and resolution of technical issues to support business continuity and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Participate in the development and improvement of operational processes to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware WebLogic Server Admin (WLS).
- Strong knowledge of middleware architecture and experience in managing WebLogic Server environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to application servers and middleware components.
- Experience in implementing and managing Requests for Change and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
- Familiarity with vendor collaboration and service management processes to ensure effective incident resolution.
- Capability to work with monitoring tools and automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware WebLogic Server Admin (WLS).
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
