Job Description
We are looking for a Durability Engineer with experience in CAE durability analysis for Off-Highway vehicles such as Excavators, Tractors, Trucks, and similar products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform durability and structural analysis for Off-Highway vehicles.
- Carry out meshing of sheet metal and plastic components using shell and solid elements.
- Create and manage various connections such as welds, bolts, and other joining methods.
- Perform material and thickness assignments as per project requirements.
- Conduct Linear and Non-Linear structural simulations using Abaqus and OptiStruct.
- Perform fatigue evaluation and durability assessment using nCode.
- Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.
- Work closely with design and product teams to improve component durability.
Required Skills:
- Experience in ANSA, HyperMesh, Abaqus, OptiStruct, and nCode.
- Knowledge of Off-Highway vehicles such as Excavators, Tractors, and Trucks.
- Good understanding of sheet metal and plastic meshing techniques.
- Experience in weld and bolt modeling.
- Knowledge of fatigue evaluation and durability analysis.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
