Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Export Marketing Executive to manage and expand our international business in the steel and metal sector. The candidate will be responsible for developing export markets, handling overseas clients, and driving sales growth across global regions such as the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement export marketing strategies for steel products (pipes, tubes, fittings, etc.)
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in international markets
Handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and negotiate with overseas clients
Maintain strong relationships with existing international customers and distributors
Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
Manage export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL, etc.)
Conduct market research to understand global demand, competition, and pricing trends
Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings
Work on vendor registrations and approvals in overseas markets (especially Middle East)
Track shipments, payments, and ensure smooth order execution
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of export procedures and international trade practices
Familiarity with steel/metal products (pipes, tubes, flanges preferred)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience with platforms like IndiaMART, TradeIndia, LinkedIn, etc.
Good understanding of Incoterms, payment terms (LC, TT), and logistics
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Engineering
MBA in Marketing / International Business preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in steel, pipes & tubes, or engineering export industry
Knowledge of Middle East / international markets
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
