Job Summary
Nestlay Rooms is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to manage guest interactions and ensure a smooth front desk operation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage room reservations and booking inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest requests promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Maintain guest records and update booking systems.
- Handle cash, billing, and payment transactions accurately.
- Address guest complaints and ensure quick resolution.
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain a professional and organized reception area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel front office operations (freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel booking software.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
