- Prepare 2D fabrication and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for process equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, and reactors.
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings covering nozzle orientation, support details, and internal components.
- Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD / SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) based on design drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.).
- Coordinate with design engineers, production, and quality teams for updates and revisions.
- Maintain drawing control, revision records, and related documentation.
- Assist in preparing layout drawings and equipment assembly drawings.
- Support project documentation and technical submissions.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D modeling software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and welding details.
- Basic knowledge of process equipment design principles.
- Familiarity with pressure vessel components, nozzles, flanges, and supports.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple projects efficiently.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Drafting / Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in process equipment manufacturing companies.
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII pressure vessel drawings.
- Exposure to heat exchangers, columns, reactors, and storage tanks.
