Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and operational HR Manager to handle the daily HR & Administrative functions at our factory unit. The ideal candidate must have experience in Time Office management, Labour Law compliance, and Grievance handling. You will act as the bridge between the management and the workforce, ensuring smooth production operations through effective manpower planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Time Office & Payroll Management
Manage daily attendance, shift rosters, and leave records for both staff and workers (on-sight, off-sight).
Handle biometric attendance systems and rectify punch irregularities.
Calculate Overtime (OT), Late marks, and Shift Allowances for payroll processing.
Verify contractor bills regarding manpower supply (if applicable).
2. Statutory Compliance (IR & Labor Laws)
Manage statutory filings and documentation for PF, ESI, etc.
Maintain statutory registers (Muster Roll, Wage Register, Accident Register, etc.) as per government norms.
Liaise with government labor officers and factory inspectors when required.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding (Blue-Collar & White-Collar)
Collaborate with the management team to forecast hiring needs based on production targets.
Source and hire skilled/semi-skilled labor, machine operators, and technical staff.
Conduct induction programs focusing on Shop Floor Safety, Company Policies, and Hygiene.
Manage the issuance of ID cards, Uniforms, and Safety Gear (PPE).
Requirements
Education: MBA in HR or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Factory environment is preferred.
Knowledge: Understanding of Labor Laws (PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, Factories Act).
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for attendance and salary reports.
Experience with HR software, ESSL or any biometric attendance system, managing job posts on the job portal like Naukri, Indeed are mandatory.
Language: Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
Personality: Ability to work in an industrial environment and handle pressure.
