Medical Records Management
· Maintain and organize inpatient and outpatient medical records as per hospital standards.
· Ensure all patient files are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
· Verify records for doctor notes, investigation reports, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
· Handle filing, indexing, scanning, and digital record management.
Documentation & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with medical record policies, legal requirements, and confidentiality standards.
· Maintain secure storage and controlled access to patient records.
· Support documentation for insurance, medico-legal, and audit purposes.
Record Retrieval & Coordination
· Retrieve and provide medical records for clinical use, audits, insurance claims, and management review.
· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and other departments for record completion.
· Ensure timely handover and tracking of patient files.
Audit & Quality Control
· Assist in medical record audits and identify documentation gaps.
· Follow up with concerned departments to close incomplete records.
· Maintain records of deficiencies and corrections.
Reporting & MIS
· Maintain daily and monthly reports related to MRD activities.
· Update data in Hospital Information System (HIS) accurately
