Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Kollam. The selected candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, technical demonstrations, and spare parts support for machines supplied by the organization.
The role involves providing support to both dealers and direct customers within the assigned region. This position requires frequent travel across Kollam to ensure timely service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, servicing, and maintenance of machines at customer locations.
- Provide technical demonstrations and training to customers and dealers.
- Respond to service requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver timely solutions.
- Manage spare parts requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Maintain accurate service logs, customer reports, and spare parts records using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Provide professional technical support to both dealers and direct customers.
- Coordinate closely with the Service Head and follow established service procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all service activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
- 1–4 years of experience in service or technical support (preferably in machinery or equipment industries).
- Proficiency in Malayalam and English.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and inventory management.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Kollam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Well-organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
