. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, seating, and clearing tables quickly to maintain a fast-paced, welcoming environment.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, tables, chairs, and restrooms; operating dishwashers to clean kitchenware.
- Operational Support: Restocking service stations, condiments, and cutlery; assisting servers with food delivery and supporting kitchen staff.
- Maintenance: Ensuring the café, floor, and equipment are clean, tidy, and safely maintained.
- Health & Safety: Adhering to safety protocols, handling cleaning chemicals responsibly, and reporting hazards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and carry heavy items (often 25-50+ lbs).
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, polite, and customer-focused personality.
- Efficiency: Capable of working quickly under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
