We are seeking a senior-level Agile leader to be responsible for leading and coaching multiple Scrum teams within a team‑of‑teams, scaled agile environment. This individual will act as a hands-on Senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach, meeting teams where they are in their Agile transformation journey, enabling predictable delivery of large, cross-team MDM work while adapting their approach to each team’s maturity and context. The role is highly dynamic, supporting both internal stakeholders, MDM and cross-pillar teams, and requires strong coaching, facilitation, and technical fluency across Agile delivery, data platforms, and the full SDLC.
Responsibilities:
- Hands‑on experience running Scrum events, Release planning / roadmap alignment in a team-of-teams context. Cross-team scope management, cross-pillar co-ordination including dependency management and impediment escalations
- Partnering closely with Scrum Masters, Senior SMs, Product Owners, Scaled POs, Engineering, Data, and Platform teams to align backlogs and scaled roadmaps
- Coach and support multiple teams in scaling adoption and scaled events, including release planning, delivery synchronization, dependencies and system-level inspect & adapt
- Comfortable challenging anti‑patterns (e.g., scope churn, over‑commitment)
Clear risk/issue communication to leadership
- Manage software delivery timelines at scaled level, milestones, and deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring teams are aligned on priorities and dependencies. Mapping dependencies across pillars and integration teams
- Facilitate scaled and team events that bring out the ideas of everyone on the team. Ensure the outcomes of the events are achieved
- Foster a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team. Keeping conversations grounded in outcomes. Translating tech/data issues into business language collaborating with Product Teams
- Help the teams remove their own barriers, leverage Scrum of Scrum’s to remove barriers the team is unable to remove and challenge organizational impediments
- Partner with the Product Owner/s, Scaled Product Owner to be in sync; ensure alignment of the Product vision, goals, delivery of customer-centric products and maintain a healthy backlog
- Works with teams and Agile Coaches to co-create and refine team working agreement, definition of "ready", and definition of "done" and a coaching backlog
- Be a change agent and help the teams navigate through organization change
- Participate in scaling adoption and scaled events, including cross-team planning, delivery synchronization, dependencies and systems-level inspect & adapt
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree - Business, Agile, Project Management related disciplines
- 10 + years’ experience on a scrum team
- 7+ years of experience within a scaled environment, and implementing a kaizen mindset
- Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills
- Embody the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus
- Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment
- Advanced credentials from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile preferred
- Tech savvy, experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365 preferred
- Encourage an experimental and fail-fast and learning mindset preferred
- Experience working with teams applying DevSecOps capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred
- Strong experience in scaled Agile framework
- Work with teams from a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to warehouse management systems, Master Data Management (Data domains such as customer, product, supplier, location, etc.), ERPs, financial systems and data-warehouses preferred
Remote work with the ability to travel to office locations as needed
