Job Title: Academic Counselor
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective and existing students in choosing the right courses and achieving their educational goals. The candidate will be responsible for counseling, admissions support, and maintaining strong student relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents about courses, career opportunities, and program benefits
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, inquiries, and walk-ins regarding admissions
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their interests and career goals
- Follow up with leads and convert them into enrollments
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems regularly
- Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams for smooth admission processes
- Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional activities
- Provide post-admission support and ensure student satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred in education, marketing, or psychology)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Experience:
- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in counseling, sales, or education industry
