Hiring for Sr. Manager - Safety & EHS
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor comprehensive Safety Management Systems in compliance with legal and internal standards
- Conduct regular Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Lead HAZOP studies and participate in PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review), MOC (Management of Change) processes
- Coordinate and conduct periodic safety training programs, mock drills, and toolbox talks for plant personnel and contractors
- Facilitate and lead incident investigations, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Ensure readiness and execution of emergency response plans, fire safety systems, and first-aid preparedness
- Carry out internal and external safety audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and manage permit-to-work (PTW) systems, confined space entries, hot work, and high-risk activities
- Develop and maintain SOPs related to safety operations and ensure alignment with operational processes
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all EHS activities and improvements
- Promote a culture of proactive safety awareness and behaviour-based safety throughout the organization
- Liaise with government bodies, third-party auditors, and ensure timely closure of all compliance findings
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance through data-driven analysis and employee engagement
- Implement Process Safety and Workplace safety measures
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per year
Experience:
- agrochemical or specialty chemical manufacturing : 10 years (Required)
- as a Manager - Safety & EHS: 10 years (Required)
