We are looking for a B2B Social Listening & Engagement Specialist with strong healthcare industry knowledge and exceptional written communication skills. The role will focus on identifying relevant healthcare industry conversations, engaging senior decision-makers with thoughtful and original insights, and identifying potential business opportunities through social listening and engagement.
The ideal candidate should understand healthcare operations, be confident engaging with senior executives, and have the ability to turn industry conversations into meaningful business interactions without resorting to generic or promotional messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor LinkedIn, X, healthcare publications, industry blogs, and professional communities for relevant conversations.
- Identify discussions involving:
o Health plans and payers
o Hospitals and health systems
o Pharmacies and PBMs
o Digital health companies
o Healthcare technology providers
- Identify and engage senior healthcare leaders, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, VPs, and functional leaders across:
o Patient experience
o Member services
o Provider services
o Contact centers
o Claims and billing
o Revenue cycle management
o Healthcare operations
- Write original, insightful comments that demonstrate an understanding of the content and contribute a meaningful perspective, example, observation, or question.
- Respond to executives and other relevant stakeholders who engage with comments, keeping conversations active and meaningful.
- Track and document meaningful social interactions and engagement activity.

- Maintain accurate records of all meaningful engagement and identified opportunities.
Daily Performance Expectations
The successful candidate will be expected to consistently achieve the following:
- Review 80 to 100 relevant healthcare posts and articles .
- Publish 40 original and thoughtful comments .
o 25 LinkedIn comments
o 10 X replies
o 5 comments across healthcare blogs, publications, or professional groups
- Engage with 30 named target healthcare companies .
- Engage with at least 15 VP-level or C-suite healthcare leaders .
- Publish 10 high-value comments within two hours of the relevant content being published.
- Complete 10 follow-up replies within active conversations.
- Identify and document at least 3 potential business needs or buying signals .
- Maintain 100% documentation of meaningful engagement activity .

Quality and relevance are critical to this role.
Every comment must:
- Demonstrate that the candidate has actually read and understood the content.
- Reference a specific point, topic, or insight from the post or article.
- Add a meaningful insight, perspective, example, or thoughtful question.
- Be original and relevant to the conversation.
- Avoid generic comments such as “Great post,” “Well said,” or “Thanks for sharing.”
- Avoid copied content and generic AI-generated filler.
- Avoid aggressive selling or promotional messaging.
- Never include invented facts, client relationships, case studies, or performance claims.
- Never disclose patient information, confidential information, or unapproved client names.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of total hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
o Healthcare
o Healthcare BPO
o Health technology
o Payer or provider operations
o Healthcare communications
o B2B social media engagement
o Social listening
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry terminology, business models, and operational challenges.
- Excellent written English and strong business communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write thoughtful, concise, and engaging B2B content.
- Ability to research topics quickly and identify meaningful insights.
- Comfortable engaging with VP-level and C-suite executives .
- Strong judgment when dealing with sensitive healthcare and business information.
- Ability to work at a high volume while maintaining quality and relevance.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Candidate Assessment Requirement
As part of the screening process, every applicant must submit five original sample comments responding to recent healthcare-related LinkedIn posts, X posts, articles, or industry publications.
The samples should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to understand the content, add a relevant insight, and engage a professional audience without using generic or promotional language.
