New Product Introduction Execution
- Support end-to-end NPI activities from design freeze to mass production.
- Execute NPI plans covering pilot builds, trials, validations, and ramp-up.
- Ensure new products are launched on time, at target cost, and with defined quality standards.
Manufacturing & Process Engineering
- Develop and establish assembly processes, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and layouts for new products.
- Perform line balancing, cycle time studies, and capacity validation.
- Identify manufacturability and assembly risks early and close them before SOP.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Design, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Production teams during NPI.
- Act as the manufacturing interface for design changes, ECNs, and process updates.
- Coordinate with suppliers for part readiness, trials, and approvals.
Quality & Validation
- Support DFMEA / PFMEA, control plans, and process validations.
- Participate in pilot builds, pre-production runs, and issue closures.
- Ensure defects identified during trials are permanently eliminated, not repeated.
Documentation & Training
- Prepare work instructions, SOPs, process flow charts, and inspection standards.
- Train operators, supervisors, and line leaders on new products and processes.
- Ensure all NPI learnings are documented and transferred to mass production.
Continuous Improvement
- Capture NPI learnings and feed them back into future projects.
- Drive improvements in launch stability, productivity, and quality.
- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives post-launch.
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
3–6 years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience in home appliances, sheet metal, assembly-based products preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and shop floor execution.
Hands-on exposure to trials, pilot builds, and production ramp-up activities.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause thinking
- Good understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, SOPs, and process validation
- Ability to work closely with shopfloor teams
- Clear communication and coordination skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and learning-focused mindset

Pay: ₹28,432.10 - ₹84,409.14 per month
