About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction operations across our project sites. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a solid understanding of civil works, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.
Qualifications & requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on site supervision experience
- Proven leadership ability to manage and supervise construction sites and project teams
- Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, construction methods, and contract documentation
- Direct experience in civil design is a strong advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative team approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under time constraints
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site tasks in accordance with project priorities, adjusting plans as needed due to weather, supply, or personnel changes
- Assign duties and oversee the work of crew members, contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensure adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
- Supervise and guide the construction team, providing clear direction and technical support
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunications promptly and professionally
- Deliver regular project status reports to site engineers, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders
- Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and emergency protocols
- Enforce site safety rules to minimise the risk of accidents and injuries
- Maintain accurate records of construction team attendance
Compensation: will vary based on experience
Work Location: Travel is required for daily site visits;
Interested parties must be locally situated in Thrissur.
