We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Tool Room Incharge with strong expertise in Plastic Injection Moulds and Dies. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in tool room operations, team management, troubleshooting, and machine utilization.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day tool room activities, ensuring maximum productivity, maintaining quality standards, and leading the team efficiently with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage complete Tool Room operations.
- Supervise manufacturing, maintenance, repair and modification of Plastic Injection Moulds and Dies.
- Plan daily work allocation and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient utilization of available resources.
- Ensure that no machine or manpower remains idle unnecessarily.
- Guide operators, fitters and machinists to achieve maximum productivity.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
- Maintain high standards of quality, precision and workmanship.
- Coordinate with Production, Design and Quality departments for smooth workflow.
- Troubleshoot mould and die-related issues during manufacturing and trials.
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules for machines and tooling.
- Ensure proper maintenance of tools, inserts, electrodes, fixtures and measuring instruments.
- Maintain discipline, safety and housekeeping (5S) inside the Tool Room.
- Reduce downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior technicians whenever required.
