Hospital PRO (Public Relations Officer) – Job Description
A Public Relations Officer (PRO) in a hospital acts as the link between the hospital, patients, their families, and the public. The PRO helps ensure good communication and a positive patient experience
Main responsibilities:
Welcome and guide patients and visitors.
Provide information about hospital services, departments, and procedures.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to resolve patient issues.
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and appointments when needed.
Maintain good relationships with patients, families, and the community.
Organize public awareness programs, health camps, and hospital events.
Support the hospital's branding, media communication, and public image.
Ensure patient satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
Skills required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Customer service orientation.
Professional appearance and behavior.
Knowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology (preferred).
Ability to work under pressure.
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience in customer service or healthcare is often preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
