We are hiring an experienced Senior Business Data Analyst (BDA) to join a remote freelance engagement supporting a leading Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance client. If you have a strong background in Insurance Data, Data Warehousing/Lakehouse, and Source-to-Target Mapping, we'd love to hear from you!
Mandatory Skills:
- P&C Insurance Domain Experience (Policy, Claims, Premium, Exposure, Reinsurance)
- Advanced SQL (Profiling, Validation, Window Functions, Reconciliation)
- Medallion/Lakehouse Architecture
- Data Vault 2.0
- Strong experience in Source-to-Target Mapping (STM/STTM)
- XML & JSON data formats
- Data Quality Analysis & Reconciliation
- Experience in Data Warehouse/Lakehouse programmes
- Agile methodologies with Jira & Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
Good to have:
- Exposure to Databricks & PySpark concepts
- Power BI Semantic Models
- Actuarial Data Marts
- Guidewire / Duck Creek / ACORD Standards
- Python (Pandas) for Data Analysis
- Alteryx
- Data Catalog tools (Purview / Collibra)
- Insurance Certifications (III / CII / AINS)
