We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to stitch, trim, and finish garments or other fabric products. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Operate industrial single-needle, double-needle, or overlock (interlock) machines to join fabric parts.
Preparation: Select the correct thread, needles, and attachments based on the specific job requirements.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects like loose threads, uneven stitching, or incorrect sizing.
Maintenance: Perform basic machine maintenance, such as oiling the machine and changing needles or bobbins.
Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Productivity: Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience as a sewing machine operator in a garment factory or textile unit.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand sewing patterns and technical sketches.
Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle delicate fabrics.
Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for identifying small errors in stitching or fabric quality.
Stamina: Physical ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
