We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QHSE Executive to oversee and enforce Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across our food service operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food handling, preparation, and service processes comply with internal policies, local regulatory standards (such as FSSAI), and international food safety management systems (like HACCP and ISO 22000). You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and our customers while driving continuous improvement in our quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety Management
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) including HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly hygiene and food safety audits across kitchens, storage areas, and dining spaces.
- Monitor food temperatures, shelf-life, cross-contamination risks, and overall sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs).
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to food quality or safety, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage supplier quality assurance by conducting vendor audits and evaluating incoming raw materials.
Health & Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture among all kitchen and service staff.
- Conduct workplace risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) specifically for food service environments (e.g., slip/fall hazards, burns, ergonomic risks, chemical handling).
- Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and occupational health issues, maintaining accurate incident logs.
- Ensure all fire safety and emergency response equipment is maintained and functional.
Environmental Management
- Develop and oversee waste management programs, focusing on food waste reduction, proper disposal of fats/oils/grease (FOG), and recycling of packaging materials.
- Monitor energy and water consumption within the facilities and suggest sustainable operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and pollution control board guidelines.
Compliance, Documentation & Training
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on food hygiene, allergen management, proper handling of chemicals (COSHH), and general workplace safety.
- Maintain comprehensive QHSE documentation, checklists, and records required for internal and external regulatory audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact during inspections by local health departments and third-party auditors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a QHSE role within the food service, catering, hospitality, or food manufacturing industry.
- Certifications: * Certified in HACCP (Level 3 or above preferred).
- FoSCoS / FSSAI certification or deep understanding of local food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Basic health and safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely) is highly advantageous.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train staff and enforce policies without causing operational friction.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen/service environment.
- Proficient in MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
