Location: Mumbai (Must be locally based for on-ground event execution)
Stipend: ₹10,000 / month
Type: Internship (Hybrid: Remote setup with on-ground execution on event days)
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, resourceful Event Operations & Public Relations Intern based in Mumbai. This isn't just an logistic role—it's a hybrid, high-impact opportunity combining live experiential event management, PR storytelling, and short-form video creation.
You will be our reliable "feet-on-the-street" in Mumbai, taking complete ownership of pre-event preparation, live event recording and logistics, and post-event media amplifications. When live events aren't running, you’ll drive our media reach through article writing, LinkedIn engagement, and journalist outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Offline & Virtual Event Management:
- Serve as the primary local on-ground runner in Mumbai to manage physical event logistics, venue prep, print collaterals, and guest experiences.
- Coordinate pre-event dry runs, execution kits, printing schedules, and venue technical setups 2–3 days prior to event dates.
- Manage guest arrival, check-ins, networking flow, and venue refreshments so facilitators can focus on attendees.
- Support the setup and execution of virtual workshops, webinars, and online events.
- On-Ground Recording & Content Creation:
- Record event proceedings, photos, and video footages on-site; immediately organize and manage assets in designated team drives.
- Produce quick-turnaround 60-second video reels, clips, interviews, and visual highlights for immediate post-event publication.
- Help produce and edit podcasts, attendee interview snippets, and engaging multi-format social content.
- PR, Media & Viral Content Strategy:
- Write and curate engaging, viral-worthy articles, press releases, and website stories during non-event periods.
- Leverage existing connections or proactively build networks with journalists, media houses, and TV channels to gain coverage for major institute events.
- Position company initiatives as industry news stories to maximize reach without relying solely on paid ad budgets.
- LinkedIn & Audience Engagement:
- Actively manage and build brand presence across LinkedIn, targeting executive and professional audiences.
- Draft engaging posts, capture key event realizations/quotes, and interact with event attendees and online followers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Location: Based in the Mumbai region with the ability to travel locally to venues for on-ground event management.

- Basic short-form video editing and phone videography/photography skills (e.g., Canva, Premiere, or DaVinci).
- Strong written English skills with a knack for storytelling, article drafting, and social media post creation.
- Active familiarity with LinkedIn, social media trends, and viral content formats.
- Existing contacts or familiarity with media/journalism networks is a major plus.
