Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance team.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Design, implement, and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all plant machinery and utilities.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and ensure high compliance.
- Handle machine breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions to minimize recurring failures.
- Manage maintenance activities for cranes, furnaces, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Plan and execute plant improvement, automation, modification, and expansion projects.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and relocation of new machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Maintain optimum spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment history, SOPs, checklists, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Lead and mentor maintenance technicians and engineers while ensuring strong shop floor discipline.
- Identify and execute productivity and cost improvement projects.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in crane maintenance (Mandatory).
- Experience in furnace maintenance and related equipment.
- Expertise in hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, motors, compressors, pumps, cranes, and industrial utilities.
- Knowledge of electrical panels, PLCs, VFDs, motors, and industrial automation.
- Ability to prepare, implement, and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems.
- Strong understanding of TPM, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why Analysis, CAPA, and Continuous Improvement tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
Candidate Profile
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7–8 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or steel/wire industry.
- Mandatory hands-on shop floor experience working with maintenance teams.
- Strong experience in crane maintenance is mandatory.
- Experience in furnace maintenance activities.
- Proven ability to design and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans.
- Experience in leading maintenance teams and handling plant maintenance operations.
- Strong understanding of maintenance KPIs and equipment reliability.
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects while ensuring uninterrupted production.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
