Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the stewarding team during shifts
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and eqiupment are cleaned and sanititzed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing area, and back of house
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal
- Monitor stock of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and safety standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams for smooth operations
- Train new stewards and monitor teams for smooth operations
- Report equipment breakdown and maintenance issues
- Perform any other duties assigned by the stewarding supervisor or Executive chef
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management
- 2-4 years of experience in hotel stewarding
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge/POS system knowledge
- Ability to work in shifts
