DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly creative and agile Graphic Designer to lead the production of all visual and marketing materials for our school. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a wide array of high-quality assets that support both our academic programs and school growth. Your primary focus will include, but is not limited to, designing school books, academic materials, student activity resources, engaging posters for social media, and comprehensive design collateral for global admission campaigns.
This is not a typical corporate 9-to-5 design role but a dynamic position embedded within a lively school community. You will join a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly to meet the ongoing demands of the academic calendar. To succeed here, you must bring a deep understanding of school dynamics, a structured approach to high-volume design work, and the flexibility to adapt your working hours around key school events, graduations, and open days.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- CorelDRAW: Advanced proficiency is required for vector graphics, technical layouts, and preparing large-scale print files.
- Adobe Photoshop: Deep, expert-level knowledge for high-end image editing, photo manipulation, color correction, and digital composite work.
- Adobe Illustrator: High expertise in creating custom illustrations, iconography, typography, and core branding assets.
- Print Production Knowledge: Solid understanding of bleed, margins, color profiles, and pre-flighting files for commercial printing.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Must have good English communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working as a graphic designer within an educational setting (schools, universities, or education-focused agencies) is mandatory.
- Willingness to adjust working hours as needed to provide on-site creative support during major school events, open days, or graduation ceremonies.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing layout design, branding, digital assets, and mastery of the required software tools.
