A Furniture Packing Operator safely secures, labels, and prepares furniture products for storage or shipment. They ensure items are protected from damage, assist with inventory logging, and operate packing machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Preparation: Clean and inspect furniture parts/units for scratches or defects before packing.
- Packaging Operations: Wrap, pad, and box furniture securely using materials like bubble wrap, foam, cardboard, corner protectors, and strapping tools.
- Machine Operation: Set up, monitor, and maintain automated packing or palletizing machinery.
- Documentation & Labeling: Weigh items, create packed pallet units, and apply accurate identification labels (barcodes, batch codes, or handling instructions).
- Inventory Control: Verify contents against packing lists and assist with warehouse organization and dispatch.
- Safety & Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding heavy lifting and equipment operation.

- Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or furniture assembly.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, bending, and frequently lifting heavy or bulky furniture items.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use hand tools (glue guns, nail guns) and basic packaging/labeling software.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail (to prevent shipping damage) and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
