Real Estate Sr.Accountant – Responsibilities
As a Real Estate Accountant, the role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
Prepare detailed journal entries and post transactions to the General Ledger (GL) to accurately track income, expenses, and other financial activities.
Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, ensuring that invoices, bills, and expense reports are accurate and properly processed.
Reconcile all business and property-related accounts regularly to ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and free from discrepancies.
Enter financial information into accounting software and maintain organized records of bills, invoices, receipts, and other supporting documentation.
Facilitate incoming payments and outgoing checks, including preparing checks, obtaining required signatures, and distributing payments as necessary.
Review financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and proper accounting procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to support reporting, audits, and overall financial management.
Follow up with vendors regarding Accounts Payable and maintain regular communication as needed to facilitate collections and ensure bills are paid accurately and on time.
Prepare information and documentation for quarterly financial reporting in accordance with standard accounting practices, while assisting with monthly closing activities.
Provide accounting support to the real estate team and staff accountants, assisting with various financial and accounting responsibilities as required. Handle and coordinate real estate tax matters, including GST, TDS, income-tax related compliances, tax payments, reconciliations, and timely filing of applicable returns in coordination with tax consultants.
Monitor tax deductions, collections, documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, including monthly financial statements, project-wise profitability, cash-flow reports, receivables/payables ageing, budget vs. actuals, and other management reports.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
