Job Description:

Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.

Maintain HT/LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, APFC panels, and power distribution systems.

Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.

Monitor electrical parameters and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
-
Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
-
Maintain and calibrate field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, flow, and analytical instruments.
-
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, control panels, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.

Perform loop checking, calibration, commissioning, and testing of instrumentation systems.

Ensure proper functioning of process automation and control systems.

Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
-
Maintain maintenance history, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
-
Ensure availability of critical electrical and instrumentation spares.
Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
-
Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and other safe work practices.
-
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and electrical inspections.
-
Maintain proper housekeeping as per 5S standards.
Documentation
-
Update electrical drawings, cable schedules, and instrument records.

Prepare maintenance reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and breakdown reports.

Coordinate with vendors for AMC activities, spare procurement, and technical support.
-
Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems and industrial instrumentation.
-
Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD troubleshooting.

Knowledge of calibration techniques and field instrumentation.
