Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Quality Assurance to lead the QA function across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring 7 to 15 years of progressive experience in establishing, implementing, and improving quality systems and ensuring adherence to both internal and external quality standards. This leadership role demands strong expertise in quality systems, process audits, regulatory compliance, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the QA/QC team, including lab testing, in-process quality checks, and final inspection processes.
- Establish a quality culture across the organization through leadership, training, and awareness programs.
- Oversee ISO or other relevant certifications, ensuring full compliance and readiness for audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory quality standards.
- Define and monitor SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation across departments.
- Monitor and control in-process quality and finished goods inspection to reduce defects and rework.
- Manage & conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and implement supplier quality systems including audits, quality agreements, and incoming material inspections.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendors for consistent quality of raw materials.
- Handle customer complaints and audits, ensuring timely resolution and relationship management.
- Present quality performance reports to management with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Use data to identify trends and implement preventive actions across processes.
- Lead, train, and mentor the quality team to ensure high performance and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) or Science.
- 8–15 years of hands-on experience in QA roles in the manufacturing sector with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making capabilities.
- Deep understanding of quality tools and statistical techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Engineering, Procurement, etc.).
