Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Intern to support our finance and accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial record maintenance, invoice processing, and reconciliation while offering exposure to real-world accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.
- Support invoice generation, verification, and payment processing.
- Help reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Assist in preparing expense reports and vouchers.
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams for accounting-related documentation.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
