Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to support the Purchase Manager in the day-to-day execution of procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, tracking open orders, expediting supplier deliveries, monitoring supplier performance, maintaining procurement records in Tally, and assisting in the transition from manual/offline purchasing processes to a structured, system-based procurement environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Purchase Manager in all day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP and ensure all purchase transactions are accurately recorded.
- Track open purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely order confirmations and deliveries.
- Expedite delayed shipments by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier communications, and purchasing documentation within Tally and other company systems.
- Assist in migrating procurement activities from manual/offline processes (Excel, paper records, etc.) to ERP and other digital systems.
- Ensure purchase data is entered accurately and kept up to date to improve reporting and traceability.
- Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, responsiveness, quality, and adherence to commitments.
- Prepare supplier performance reports and purchasing status updates for the Purchase Manager.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing priorities and delivery requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, quality issues, and documentation discrepancies.
- Assist in obtaining supplier quotations, comparing offers, and preparing basic cost comparisons.
- Support vendor onboarding and maintain supplier master records.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Perform other procurement and administrative duties as assigned by the Purchase Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
- Hands-on experience using ERP for purchase entries and procurement-related transactions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
