Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GeM Tender Executive to join our Government Business team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying government tenders, preparing bid documents, submitting tenders through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal, coordinating with OEMs and internal departments, and ensuring timely execution of government orders.
Freshers with excellent computer knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Experienced candidates with knowledge of GeM, CPP Portal, and government procurement procedures will be given preference.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTender Search & Analysis
- Search and identify relevant GeM tenders on a daily basis.
- Analyze tender eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
- Prepare a list of suitable tenders for management approval.
- Maintain a daily tender opportunity tracker.
- Monitor upcoming and active government tenders.
Bid Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
- Upload bids on the GeM Portal within stipulated timelines.
- Verify all documents before final submission.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required information.
- Ensure error-free and timely bid submissions.
- Track bid status until completion.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain updated company documents for tender participation.
- Collect OEM Authorization Letters (MAF), compliance certificates, product datasheets, and declarations.
- Ensure compliance with GeM guidelines and government procurement rules.
- Maintain records of EMD, Performance Bank Guarantees, and contractual documents.
- Organize tender-related documentation for audits and future reference.
Order Processing & Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, Stores, Accounts, and Logistics after receiving Purchase Orders.
- Monitor order acceptance, production planning, dispatch, installation, and invoicing.
- Follow up for timely payment collections.
- Maintain complete order documentation and status updates.
Customer & Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with government buyers regarding tender queries and order execution.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers for quotations and technical documents.
- Resolve customer and vendor issues promptly.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly GeM reports.
- Maintain records of:
- Tenders Identified
- Bids Submitted
- Orders Received
- Revenue Generated
- Pending Tenders
- Submit performance reports to management.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Maintain confidentiality of tender information.
- Follow company SOPs and GeM guidelines.
- Stay updated with changes in GeM policies and procurement regulations.
- Suggest improvements to increase bid success rates.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Applications, or any relevant discipline.
- MBA (Preferred but not mandatory).
ExperienceFresher
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, and internet applications.
- Strong willingness to learn GeM Portal operations and government tendering.
Experienced
- 1–5 Years of experience in GeM Tender Management or Government Tendering.
- Experience in IT Hardware, Electronics, Networking, or Government Procurement will be preferred.

Salary
- Fresher: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
