Job Title: School Nurse
Location: Dahisar, Mumbai
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to oversee the health and well-being of students and staff. The School Nurse will provide first aid, manage student health records, administer medications, respond to medical emergencies, and promote a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
- Assess and manage student illnesses, injuries, and health concerns.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain medication records.
- Maintain and update student health records, immunization records, and medical histories.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, and allergies.
- Coordinate with parents, doctors, and school authorities regarding student health needs.
- Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, height, weight, etc.) as required.
- Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Promote health awareness through wellness programs and health education sessions.
- Manage infection control and communicable disease protocols within the school.
Required Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
- Minimum 1–3 years of nursing experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
