We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head – Environmental Projects to lead and manage environmental infrastructure and sustainability projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in environmental engineering, regulatory compliance, project management, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of environmental projects including wastewater treatment, solid waste management, air pollution control, environmental restoration, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop project strategies, budgets, timelines, and resource plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, statutory regulations, and government guidelines.
- Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies for approvals and project execution.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations for ongoing and proposed projects.
- Monitor project performance, quality standards, safety compliance, and environmental best practices.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, budgets, and progress presentations for management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and sustainable project implementation.
- Lead client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and technical reviews.
- Mentor project managers and engineering teams to ensure operational excellence.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Project Management will be an added advantage.
- 12–18 years of experience managing large-scale environmental or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, pollution control systems, waste management, and sustainability practices.
- Experience in handling government, industrial, municipal, or infrastructure environmental projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project planning tools, MS Office, and technical reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and compliance.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
