Job Summary:
We are looking for a customer-focused and result-driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Handle billing, cash transactions, and POS operations
- Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays
- Ensure product availability and manage stock replenishment
- Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and offers
- Support inventory management and stock audits
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Basic knowledge of retail operations and sales techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, billing software)
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in retail, or customer service roles
- Upselling and cross-selling skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
- Standing for long hours may be required
