About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Lead to drive the modernization of legacy data pipelines and lead a team in designing scalable, high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, dbt, Python, and SQL, along with proven leadership experience. Candidates with prior exposure to the healthcare domain will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to deliver high-quality data engineering solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and dbt.
- Modernize and migrate legacy data pipelines to cloud-based architectures.
- Develop and maintain robust data models and workflows.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
- Build automation solutions using Python for data processing and pipeline orchestration.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Databricks
- Expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool)
- Advanced knowledge of Python
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Proven Team Leadership experience
- Experience in Legacy Data Pipeline Modernization
- Healthcare domain experience is preferred
Eligibility Criteria
- 8–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Mandatory Requirement
- Rigid Background Verification is mandatory.
- UAN/PF employment verification must be successfully completed.
