Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and analytical E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of our online sales channels. In this role, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, optimizing the user experience, managing marketplace listings, and executing digital merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate blends creative thinking with a data-driven approach to maximize conversion rates, optimize ad spend, and drive customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and consistently meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Platform Management: Oversee day-to-day operations and health of our D2C website (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) as well as external marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra).
Merchandising & Cataloging: Ensure all products are accurately listed with high-quality images, SEO-optimized descriptions, and competitive pricing strategies.
Digital Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to align performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads), email marketing, and promotional calendars to drive targeted traffic.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Continuously analyze customer journey data to identify drop-off points, improve site speed, and implement A/B testing for UI/UX improvements.
Inventory & Fulfillment: Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, accurate forecasting, and seamless, on-time order fulfillment.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and cart abandonment rates.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in e-commerce management, digital retail, or a similar role driving online revenue.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field, supplemented by platform certifications (e.g., Shopify, GA4).
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience managing major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, etc.) and deep knowledge of marketplace seller portals (Amazon Seller Central).
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and fundamental SEO/SEM principles.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business strategies and clear executive reports.
Leadership: Excellent project management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service teams.
