Job Purpose
To maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience throughout the resort.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Room Attendant Duties
- Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms according to resort standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Inspect rooms to ensure readiness for guest occupancy
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards promptly
- Respect guest privacy, confidentiality, and security procedures
Public Area Attendant Duties
- Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairways, restrooms, and staff areas
- Ensure public spaces are clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times
- Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with procedures
- Replenish supplies in public restrooms and service areas
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly
General Responsibilities
- Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner
- Adhere to all hygiene, health, safety, and grooming standards
- Follow Couples Resorts policies and departmental procedures
- Work effectively as part of the housekeeping team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or hotel/resort experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
