A Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and project managers
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
- Check quality of materials and workmanship
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Manage labor, equipment, and material usage efficiently
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and company policies
- Prepare quantity estimates and assist in billing/process documentation
- Maintain site records, measurements, and progress reports
- Monitor health and safety practices on-site
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and civil engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Project management and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction software
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- Fresher to several years of experience depending on the project/company requirements
Work Environment
- Construction sites, infrastructure projects, residential/commercial buildings, roads, bridges, etc.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
