We are looking for a Python/Django Developer to join our team in Mohali. You will work on building and maintaining web applications and APIs, collaborating with front-end developers and designers to deliver reliable, well-structured solutions for our clients.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django
- Build RESTful APIs for internal and external use
- Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
- Design and manage database schemas using PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth performance
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Stay updated with relevant tools and technologies
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Python development
- Solid understanding of Django and Django REST Framework
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM usage
- Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good to Have
- Experience with React or Angular
- Familiarity with Docker and basic CI/CD concepts
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
