We are looking for a skilled VB.NET Developer to join our team on a contractual basis in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing and maintaining web-based applications using VB.NET and related Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using VB.NET.
- Work with SQL Server databases, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain code quality, documentation, and application performance.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in VB.NET development.
- Good knowledge of ADO.NET.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience working in support and enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and IIS will be an added advantage.
